শহীদ মিনার আঁকা ও রং করা How to draw shahid minar easily 21 february drawing easy How to draw international mother language day drawing About International Mother Language Day & the Shaheed Minar: International Mother Language Day (21 February) honors the students and language activists who gave their lives in 1952 for the right to use their mother tongue. Every year people remember those martyrs by placing wreaths and standing in silence at the Shaheed Minar — the national monument built to mark their sacrifice. UNESCO declared 21 February as International Mother Language Day to promote linguistic and cultural diversity and the preservation of mother tongues worldwide. The Shaheed Minar itself is a symbol of courage, memory, and respect for language and identity. How to draw the Shaheed Minar: Materials 1. A4 or sketch paper (landscape works well) 2. Pencil (HB), darker pencil (2B/4B) 3. Ruler, eraser, compass or round object for tracing a circle 4. Black fineliner or marker 4. Red marker/colored pencil/paint 5. Blending stump Proportions to keep in mind Work from the center line. The monument sits on a wide two-step platform at the bottom (about 1/4 of the page height). The central structure should be the tallest element. The red circle (sun) behind the pillar fills the central area and is visible through the openings. Steps Light guidelines Turn the paper landscape. Lightly draw a horizontal baseline for the platform about 1/4 up from the bottom. Mark the vertical centerline of the page. Draw the two steps (platform) Draw a long rectangle across the page From its four corners, drop short vertical lines to show depth and connect them to form the front faces — this makes a 3D step. Below that, draw a second, wider rectangle (the lower step) in the same way. Keep lines light. Place the central block Above the middle of the top step, draw a tall rectangle (central column block). This will hold the two inner openings. Leave a vertical strip in the middle (the central divider). Make the flared top At the top of the central block draw a wider trapezoid shape (flared cap) whose top is wider than the column — like the picture’s top beam. Draw the red circle behind Using a compass or a round object, draw a large circle centered on the monument so it sits partly behind the central openings and peeks out at the sides. The circle represents the rising sun / the blood of the martyrs. Draw the two tall inner openings Split the central block vertically into two tall window-like openings separated by the central divider. The openings reach from the platform to below the top cap. Inside those openings you'll add vertical thin bars later. Add the side pillars On each side of the central block draw two rectangular pillars (four pillars total): the pillars nearest the center are taller; the outermost are shorter. Space them evenly and make them narrow. Each pillar has a recessed panel (draw a smaller rectangle inside each) where you’ll add vertical slats. Draw the vertical slats (grills) Inside every recessed panel (center openings and side panels) draw evenly spaced thin vertical lines to create the grill effect. Use a ruler for straightness. Add small bases Add short bases under each pillar so they sit on the top step. Make sure the bases align with the platform top edge. Refine perspective & small details Clean up proportions, adjust widths so the left and right sides are symmetrical. Add the small triangular/curved gaps where the circle meets the bottom of the center openings (as in the picture) so the circle appears partly cut by the openings. Ink the outlines When satisfied, trace the main outer outlines with a black marker. Use a thicker line for the outer silhouette and thinner lines for grills and inner details. Color the circle Fill the circle with red.
