Welcome to our very first vlog as Benchmate Moms — a channel created straight from our hearts. Two childhood benchmates… Two moms balancing life, family, dreams… Two women who finally decided to take one small step towards exploring the world again. And this journey begins at the sacred Pillayarpatti Karpaga Vinayagar Temple. 💛🙏 Our day started beautifully with a train ride from Pattukottai, and trust us — train vibes hit differently when two best friends travel together. The laughter, the silly stories, the quiet moments looking out of the window… it felt like we teleported back to our school bench days. Once we reached Pillayarpatti railway station, our mini adventure unfolded step by step. A local bus to the bus stand… Another bus to the Pillayarpatti stop… And then a peaceful walk through rain-washed streets, holding our bags tightly and our dreams even tighter. The whole time, the drizzle followed us like a soft background music — sometimes gentle, sometimes heavy, but always magical. We walked, talked, giggled, and breathed in that fresh earthy smell that only rainy days can give. Inside the temple, everything stood still. The darshan happened in just a few minutes — yet those few minutes felt like pure bliss. A kind volunteer offered prasadam to everyone, and that small act of sharing felt like Lord Vinayagar himself blessing our new beginning. After the darshan, we took a calm eagle-eye view around the temple — admiring the ancient sculptures, the wet stone floors, and the timeless beauty of Pillayarpatti. Even though the rain didn’t let us explore every corner, it gave the temple a dreamy, divine look that we will never forget. Our return wasn’t easy — bus to Karaikudi, then another crowded bus to Pattukottai. We were exhausted… but happy. Drenched… but glowing. Tired… but fulfilled. And we both agreed on one thing: Train journeys will always win over buses. Always. 🚉✨ This trip wasn’t luxurious or planned… it was simple, real, raw, and deeply meaningful.
