This is our favorite homemade laundry detergent recipe that we have been using for years! It works really well–even on our outdoor-loving kids– and is SO much cheaper than the commercial version. It is super easy to make and lasts a long time. And, one of the best parts is that you don’t have to spend forever grating bar soap for this recipe! Will you give it a try? Add Castille soap and essential oil (if using). Shake or mix with a wooden spoon. Use 1-1.5 tablespoons per load. *Extra tips: Add white distilled vinegar to the rinse cycle in the washer for an extra cleaning boost.
