Testing is performed on a benchtop. For gaming test scenes, either a custom scene or the in-game benchtop. Tests are performed in 3 passes or more if there are anomalies or significant variations in order to identify the source of the variation. If there is no suspicious behavior, the three passes are combined into an average of the three. Custom scenes in single-player games are played on a loop lasting from 60 to 120 seconds depending on the game, with an attempt to replicate the loop as closely as possible on each run.
