A lot of good stuff from Hendon Hooker when he knows where he wants to throw it – very balanced and accurate with the football. On the heels of the combine, as we are preparing for the NFL Draft, time to start looking at some of these college quarterbacks and give you a look at what I see on film. I always say, it’s really hard evaluations with most of these guys because I don’t know what they are trying to do offensively in college. The spacing is different. What they ask of these quarterbacks is different from what I expect them to do at the next level. You are trying to do your best at trying to figure out what might translate, what these guys do well. No particular order as we work up to the draft, but some of the guys who I have towards the top will be some of the last guys as we prepare for the draft. We are going to start with Hendon Hooker from the University of Tennessee, the guy who most people thought was the Heisman front runner until he suffered the injury last year. He did so many things really well and this is one of the hardest evaluations for me because their offense is really strange. There are so many things that I like about him and the way he plays the game! A lot of good stuff from Hendon Hooker when he knows where he wants to throw it, lined up, very accurate with the throws. You can see that on tape in numerous games, very balanced and accurate with the football. Even on throws down the field. That’s the kind of good stuff you see from Hendon Hooker.
