With an insane warmth to weight ratio, the Patagonia MicroPuff Synthetic hoodie is an incredible jacket for those looking to hike lots of miles, travel lightweight and really are in the market for a compressible, light, packable and simple solution to a thermal layer for thru-hiking. It's way better than my down jacket because it consistently keeps its loft in damper conditions. This Patagonia micro puff insulated jacket is of a high quality, but it sadly isn't cheap. But you're definitely getting some bang for your buck. In this review, I give you my first look and impressions to help you make the decision on whether or not it's the right insulated . jacked for you, it's a really good one, but a cheap down puffy will do the same job, you just need to make sure a down one doesn't get . any moisture on it. Whereas with the micro puff hoodie, it's way more reliable.
