About Guest: Vallabh Bhanshali is an Indian investment banker, venture capitalist, and educationist best known as the co-founder of the Enam Group. A former board member of the Reserve Bank of India and Axis Bank, he played a key role in the IPOs of Infosys and Coal India. A chartered accountant and law graduate, he also helped establish FLAME University and the Indian School of Public Policy, promoting education and ethical leadership. In the conversation, Vallabh Bhanshali discussed finance and investing from a deeply philosophical and ethical lens. He said that public markets are the world’s largest clearing house, where perception and reality often differ, and true opportunity lies in identifying that gap and having the courage to act. He emphasized excellence, honesty, and patience, noting that compounding, not speculation, creates lasting wealth. Like Buffett and Munger, he believes investing is about humility, constant learning, and aligning with nature’s rules.
