Sky News host Sharri Markson reveals police and security agencies are highly concerned about the risk posed by three adults among a group of 34 women and children seeking to return to Australia. It has been discovered authorities have not interviewed them in almost four years despite passports being issued, and claims some travelled to join the Islamic State. “Police and security agencies are highly concerned about the risk that three of the adults in this group pose,” Ms Markson said. “Shockingly, Australian authorities haven’t been able to interview the group in almost three or four years. “It’s understood that some of the group had the explicit purpose of joining the fight for the Islamic state. “This is a blood thirsty terrorist group that beheaded Westerners. “Passports have been issued to the group by the Australian government. “It’s very clear that the Albanese government has misled Australia.”
