This video was shot at the end of a task during the Nordic Junior Gliding Championships 2018, held at the fantastic Räyskälä in Finland. http://www.rayskala.fi/english/home The famous Räyskälä Runway 12L has a lake just by the end of it, that gives the opportunity to make some awesome approaches if the glider has enough energy. I was coming home with high speed and had the glider filled with water, so I decided to hit the deck and go low. My landing on the airfield was not that pretty, bear in mind that the glider still had a lot of kinetic energy in it.
