I created this model by combining a flower designed by Vincent Dolz with the Christmas tree trunk created by Jo Nakashima. By merging the best features of both designs, I believe I’ve crafted something that is both elegant and relatively easy to make. *How to make a star:* • Origami 5 Pointed Star - Simplified V... *Recommended material:* Colorset paper, with the same color on both sides. *Trunk piece:* 20 x 20 cm (8 x 8 inches). *Branch pieces:* 18 x 18 cm (7 x 7 inches). 15.5 x 15.5 cm (6 x 6 inches). 13.5 x 13.5 cm (5.3 x 5.3 inches). 11.5 x 11.5 cm (4.5 x 4.5 inches). 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches). 6.5 x 6.5 cm (2.5 x 2.5 inches). *Note:* You can use as many squares as you like, as long as the green pieces are smaller than the brown one and equal to or smaller than the preceding green pieces.
