West Highland Way Day 1 - Milnagavie to Drymen

Day 1 of the West Highland Way started just outside Glasgow in the town of Milnagavie. Hiking from Milnagavie to Drymen is the first 12 miles of the 96 mile WHW. On day one, the West Highland Way has fairly easy terrain other than the pavement at the end of the hike which was hard on the feet. Along the way we stopped at Glengoyne Distillery, slogged through a massive downpour, experienced beautiful scenery, and met incredible people. We then spent the night in a B&B in Drymen.
