This was added a week ago in Country Star, and I was expecting this to come here... dais said that this was not a permanent change, however, I'm expecting this to be for at least 2 more seasons. This might be a way to save money for the games that NextBeat is planning this year (Metal & EDM Star). I hope they do one of these three things: decrease the cost of the tour pass, add at least ONE new song or add more “alt versions” in the Tour Pass to make it worth it. Is easy to say that they should stop doing these, but we all know this wont ever happen. I don’t know the correct name of these editions, but I call them “alt versions” because in one message that dais posted in the Country Star server, this was the name she used for those. Timestamps: (All charts are standard edition) 0:00 - In The End (Normal) 2:27 - Sugar, We're Goin Down (Normal) 4:57 - All The Small Things (Hard) 7:17 - Stacy's Mom (Hard) 9:32 - I Write Sins Not Tragedies (Hard) 11:58 - American Idiot (Normal) 14:25 - Sweet Home Alabama (Extreme) 16:50 - Misery Business (Normal) 19:09 - Enter Sandman (Extreme) Thoughts about each chart: 1. In The End: This chart was so unnecesary... literally ALL the charts of this song uses THE SAME part of the song, they could've at least charted a different part in this chart. I will never recommend this chart (and now even less that the hard edition got in Journey yesterday). 2. Sugar, We're Goin Down Probably the chart that least deserved an "alt version" this season, the standard isn't even that hard compared to the other normals. 3. All The Small Things This chart is really good, and is a massive improvent compared to the standard, however, this chart is similar to the Deluxe. If you have the deluxe, I won't recommend this chart, if you don't have the deluxe you SHOULD get this chart. 4. Stacy's Mom This chart is PERFECT imo, this was my favorite chart of the season. NextBeat managed to do this edition feel different than the deluxe, and I'm glad they did. Even if you have the deluxe, I recommend this chart, also the song is good imo. 5. I Write Sins Not Tragedies I can't compare too much this and the other editions because I've never played the standard or deluxe of this song, I will say that this is the hardest Hard of the season, and it was really well done. I also recommend this song, this season had good hards. 6. American Idiot Despite being normal, this was really fun to play. This is a really tough normal I'll say, good thing this song is not that easy in all three difficulties. I wont say that you should get this chart or not, because is a downgrade in difficulty, but if you don't care about that, you can get it. 7. Sweet Home Alabama Another port from Country Star, I'm tired of playing this chart, I've played this a lot recently. If you have the Deluxe Edition of this song, I will not recommend getting this because is almost the same thing (at this moment, the Deluxe is only available in Country Star, however, I'm prediction that next week this song gets a deluxe with Sandstorm, since SHA is the only song of the season that doesn't have a deluxe). Somehow easier than the Hard Deluxe, maybe they could’ve done that Stage 4 pattern with stairs to make it more extreme-worthy. 8. Misery Business This is probaly the most undercharted chart of the season; final stage was really fun to play, but the rest feels so empty. I have nothing else to say, I don't recommend this chart at all. 9. Enter Sandman Another extreme this season, this is the first season with two standard extremes. This is the hardest song of the season by far (I'll put it maybe a little harder than Avalon or Gimme Chocolate!!). This song have divided opinions, some people say is better than deluxe, some people say is worse than deluxe, I'll say that I prefer this chart slightly over the deluxe because it has a better ending, but the intro feels a little weird imo (but at least they charted a different part of the song, something that most charts didn't do). Leave me your thoughts of the charts, the Tour Pass or anything. I know this description is too long… is probably the second time I do this thing excessively long. Also, let me know if you like a long video or individual videos, this is an experiment, I may or may not continue doing this type of videos.
