It's not the essence of you. I'd also like to make the point that disorders, and disordered thinking, is not so simplistic that you can relate it back to an image in a magazine, or watching an artist speak on stage, who also has anorexia. But, the media may tell you otherwise. Disorders are complex and based on experiences that have deeply effected the individual.
