Borneo ORANGUTANS: An Unforgettable Encounter You NEED to Have 🇲🇾

Today we see ORANGUTAN'S for the first time in the (semi) wild. This is something that everyone needs to do when they visit Borneo and we are no exception! The Semenggoh Wildlife Centre is located about 30 minutes outside of the Kuching City centre and was established in 1975 as a rehabilitation centre for Orangutan's found orphaned or injured and also confiscated from the public. The centre is open daily from 8am to 10 am and again at 2pm - 4pm, with feeding times from 9-10 am and 3-4 pm. Entrance fee is 10MYR for foreigners and to catch the electric buggy is 15MYR which takes you the approximate 1km to and from the feeding area. We had an amazing time and being able to witness these people of the jungle was a once in a lifetime experience which we shall never forget. Would highly recommend visiting as it helps the Orangutan and is only 10MYR which is extremely cheap for what you get out of it. Hope you enjoyed!
