In this video I show you how to know the abilities of your rangefinder from a tree stand. Most of the newer rangefinders on the market have trigonometry built into the “bow mode” which makes sure you are using the right yardage for your target. With archery if this angled range isn’t accurate then you are going to miss high. Back when the rangefinders didn’t have angle compensation we would range targets on a perfect flat plane instead of the LOS or (Line of Sight) and it would give you the number you need not the longer number.
