Well, we have come to that time of the year again – Thanksgiving. It is the season of the year when we pause, reflect, and say, “Lord, you have been good to me!” But if we’re honest, this year has not been easy. Some of us have walked through valleys of uncertainty, sickness, loss, or transition. Yet here we are: · Still standing · Still breathing · Still blessed · And still grateful. You see, Thanksgiving is not about what’s on the table, but it is about who’s at the head of it. It’s not about having everything perfect. It’s about realizing that God’s presence is still perfecting us through every storm. So: “In everything give thanks.” Notice that Paul didn’t say ‘for everything,’ but ‘in everything.’ · In joy or sorrow · In plenty or in need · In triumph or in trial · Give thanks. Gratitude is not a reaction to what’s happening around you. It is a revelation of who’s living within you.
