As a key contributor to the independent label Ovelha Trax, Control Vertex plays a dual role: both as a music producer and the creative force behind much of the label’s visual identity, including cover artwork and motion graphics. In 2025, Control Vertex released the debut EP Hoodsploitation through Ovelha Trax. The project blends contemporary electronic music with thematic influences from 1990s hip-hop culture and exploitation cinema, resulting in a sound that is rhythmically raw, visually referential, and conceptually sharp. The EP includes remixes by GO Nuclear, ATM, and SAIGG, expanding its sonic reach within the electro and breakbeat spectrum. As a visual designer and motion graphics artist, Control Vertex has established a distinctive aesthetic characterized by glitch textures, bold typography, and kinetic compositions. This visual language closely aligns with the artist’s musical output, forming a coherent artistic identity that spans audio and visual media.
