Have you ever tried to fly a Mini 2 in the snow? We were in West Virginia visiting family again this month and there was a snow storm that came through giving us the perfect opportunity to fly a Mini 2 in the snow. It was a brief snow storm and the snow melted away before noon, but it was a heavy snow. We definitely don’t think it’s a good idea to fly a Mini 2 in the snow, but who could turn away a chance like this? We’ve only flown in cold weather once in the past but the snow had already fallen and Jack (our DJI Mini 2 drone) has never felt snow or rain on his props. Well, today, that’s changed and he’s an experienced snow drone. You may notice we are still flying the DJI Mini 2 using the DJI Fly App 1.4.8 and we haven’t upgraded to the 1.5.10 update as of yet. Honestly, we keep forgetting to run the update until we are all ready to fly, but so far the DJI Fly App 1.4.8 version has served us well and we’ve not experienced any problems as of yet. Eventually we will do the update and maybe even post a video about the process and comparisons. Let us know in the comments if you’d like to see a video comparing the DJI Fly App 1.4.8 and the 1.5.10 versions. As always, we want to thank you for watching and taking the time to send us such kind comments. Let us know in the comments if you’ve ever tried to fly a Mini 2 in the snow, or any drone for that matter, and how you feel it went. We hope you have a great week and God bless!!!
