Birth and first 30 minutes of an Impala's life😲(long)

Came across an Impala giving birth late in the evening. Video can be grainy at times because I had to use the telephoto from some distance to not disturb the Impala mom and to not disrupt the baby from imprinting on the mother. Posted this video with limited edits - the entire process is here. Notice how the mother is alert and jittery the mother is particularly after the baby is born. Not sure what she could have done if a leopard or a hyena came by except to run away and abandon the little one. She is taking every precaution - she stepped away from the main herd which was some 200 meters away, she or the baby does not make any noise during the process, she cleans up the birthing material almost as soon the baby is out, nudging the baby to move as soon as it gains its feet etc. The baby is up and about 10 minutes after birth. I was thrilled to be present during the birth but the video is long - here is the index.
