This video is for anyone struggling to stay grounded while facing the overwhelming stress of current events in the Middle East. It is a very slow and grounding practice. You can’t "mindfulness" your way out of a war zone, and meditation won't make you safer. But what it can do is strengthen your mind, support your body, and build the resilience you need to keep going when things feel out of your control. In this guided session, I focus on: Survival Triage: Checking in on your basic needs (sleep, food, comfort). Nervous System Regulation: Breathing techniques to tell your body it's okay to rest for just a moment. Somatic Release: Simple movements to let go of the physical tension and "pent-up energy" that trauma leaves behind. Mindful Observation: Learning to be the observer of your thoughts rather than a victim to them. Whether you are in the heart of the conflict or watching from afar, take this time to reclaim your focus. You are doing the best you can in impossible circumstances. I am proud of you for being here.
