Well, it's not entirely Shield Throw I guess, but I am using two Shield Bearer Dragoons (one Therian, one Earthlain) here. The thing to note about Shield Throw is that it doesn't use Artillery's weapon attack and instead uses 3x of DEF on the equipped Shield. It's basically ranged row version of Shield Smite. And because it is ranged, I can send Therian to the back row without having to worry about suffering damage penalty (assuming High Ground is used when they are in the same row). Having the two Shield Bearers also allow Dragon Force to cover both rows, though it's not something to rely on given low activation chance. As such, it's best to use Star Bazooka for this since it comes with STR+++ effect, which allows Earthlain here to catch up to Therian. Bunkers still have some merits here. vs row-piercing attacks or party-wide attacks, they don't provide protection... but there are still aggro-able attacks that I would rather not have on the main members. Other than that, I guess I just tried Black Mist + Sleep Gas + Status ATK Up here to build Black Blade stack quickly. I could also send Harbinger to the front with Black Armor 3, but eh.
