Former White House staffer Barbara Heineback says for 30 or 40 years nobody called Donald Trump a racist, it's only been fairly recently since he became a Republican that the claim surfaced. Ms Heineback told Sky News host Chris Kenny "all of this race-baiting for three days in a row" at the Democratic National Convention has been so disappointing. "Well actually, it’s just been about four years in a row," she said. "But guess what, Donald Trump did not start all of this race-baiting". Ms Heineback said President Trump "fulfilled more of his promises in the first year and a half of his administration, than anyone else had done before him". "The race-baiting is an insult to people like me, a black-American". Commenting on the issue, Mr Kenny said Democratic politicians "and their media, like the CNN commentators" are essentially telling Americans if they vote for Trump they’re racist.
