[MBTL] The History of Shield in Melty Blood: Type Lumina

Shield is one of the most contentious aspects of Melty Blood: Type Lumina. It has changed a lot over the course of the game’s lifespan and is hardly recognizable as the same mechanic nowadays. Today we look at the history of Type Lumina’s Shield and how it became what it is in the current version and meta. This is my first time doing such a hefty longform video in at least a couple years. I had to do it under a deadline, too, so I was unable to rerecord the entire audio to make script corrections which is why the voicework can be kind of choppy. I’ll be more diligent next time, trust.
