Here we are- part 7 of our Resident Evil recap. We’ve spent the last few parts of this series to talk about events in Raccoon City, and now, after having covered the events of Resident Evil 2 and both Outbreak games, here, we’re going to wrap up the Raccoon City storyline (for the time being) with Resident Evil 3. Like with our Resident Evil 1 and 2 recaps, do keep in mind that this recap is going to be focusing on Resident Evil 3’s remake, not the original title. With that out of the way, let’s get started. Resident Evil 3’s story is set across several days, beginning slightly before the events of Resident Evil 2, then running concurrent to it for a good chunk, and then following up on it to reveal Raccoon City’s ultimate fate. Meanwhile, once again, the game also shifts focus to a different protagonist, once again shining the spotlight on STARS member Jill Valentine, who was Resident Evil 1’s co-protagonist with Chris Redfield.
