A Naturalistic Way - Ackie Monitor Vivarium

Welcome to the first video in a series I have called 'A Naturalistic Way'. The aim of this series is to show how you can create naturalistic and enriching enclosures for your animals. This one is showing you my Varanus acanthurus or Ackie Monitor enclosure. Here you will see how my pair act over the course of a day and exhibit some natural behaviours yet remain hand tame. I scatter feed either roaches, locust or crickets mixing it up every 2-3 days. Hand Feeding: I hand feed them once a week. This keeps them used to me and hand tame and gives me a chance to give them a visual heath check.
