Birds of prey are the type of bird which predominantly hunt and feed on other animals. These birds are right at the top of the food chain among the apex predators. With their keen eyesight, they can detect food from great distances during their flight. Their resilient feet are armed with strong pointed talons for grasping and killing the prey. With powerful curved beaks these predators tear the flesh effortlessly. Eagle, Hawk, Falcon, vultures are to name a few. Most of these birds hunt and eat live prey, but some also do not hesitate to feast on carrion. ► Subscribe For New Videos! ► / @thefaunayt Similar video here: • Video Hawk vs. Marine Iguana Hawks are a group of medium sized diurnal birds of prey of the family Accipitridae. They are widely distributed and vary greatly in size. The subfamily Accipitridae includes goshawks, sparrow hawks, sharp-shinned hawks, and others. One hawk was caught hunting marine iguanas at Galapagos Island. The marine iguana, also known as the sea iguana, saltwater iguana, or Galápagos marine iguana, is a species of iguana found only on the Galápagos Islands. One iguana wandered too far from shelter rocks and thus became an easy target for the Hawk waiting for an opportunity. Flapping its wings it quickly took flight and in no time reached its target, clawing its nail in the iguana. Bald Eagle vs. Fox Holding a Rabbit: The bald eagle is a bird of prey found in North America. A sea eagle has two known subspecies and forms a species pair with the white-tailed eagle. Its range includes most of Canada and Alaska, all of the contiguous United States, and northern Mexico. Photographer Kevin Ebi was fortunate enough to take on the video where a hunter became the hunted and the predator became the prey. Ebi was in San Juan Island National Historical Park in Washington where he panned his camera to take the footage of a red fox catching a rabbit. When it did, a bald eagle came to snatch the rabbit from the fox. It attacked the fox time and again until the fox ran away.
