Hey. I guess there's a lot of need for words. Anyway DMC3 is BACK! I apologize profusely for how long a gap there was. Between parts I moved states and just had a ton of issues getting the recording setup back in place, and I've been really busy between work and school as usual. Then YouTube decided to be a massive pain with all these bullshit AI age features and frankly I was considering just deleting the channel wholesale. As you can tell, that didn't happen, and we're just gonna roll with things until they get too bad to ignore. In the meantime, this part is Missions 4 and 5. We’re finally exploring the Temin-Ni Gru, the tower that the rest of the game will be set in. I use Gunslinger in mission 4, which also gives you charge shot and a new crazy combo for Ebony and Ivory which I kinda fail at using at first but I show it off a few times. I also made sure to get the Cerberus combat adjudicator, because you can actually easily get up to the ledge even without Trickster. So there's a little tip for new players. There’s some new enemies, the Gluttonies, to worry about. They’re kinda annoying, as they have this big attack that they love to do at the edge of the screen where they shoot a bunch of sand at you. The mission 4 boss is Gigapede. Utter joke, just jump on his back and attack his face. Takes all of two seconds, but I admit my first playthrough I spent like an hour shooting at him thinking that’s how you fought him. Mission 5 introduces Bloodgoyles who I hate too. You have to shoot them before you can use melee of they’ll multiply. If they aren’t statues it’s just a problem that never ends, but ones petrified they go down easy. Also you can tell this is the original release because there's no Jester fight. I'll cover Special Edition later at some point so we'll see him there. In mission 5 you can find Secret Mission 2. As the name implies, don't get hit. Simple and easy enough. Mission 5’s end more than makes up for it. Agni and Rudra are the best dual boss in any game. There's so much detail I wouldn't even know where to begin. I guess for starters they are timed to always allow you just enough room to evade them, they will always try to line up around you and sandwich you but they can attack each other so you can use that to your advantage against them. You do want to kill them nearly at the same time however because they have a combined attack phase where the surviving brother can use the other’s weapon and they get some really rough moves. I don’t show it here because I’m so used to fighting them a certain way I didn’t even think to. If you do what I did, clash and knock the weapon from their hand, you’re golden. As characters they contrast Dante and Vergil well as they get along great and are generally super funny. Their weapon form is awesome too as you’ll see later.
