If I had to start over and build my portfolio from scratch in 2025, I’d do things a little differently. That's because AI has completely changed the game for instructional design, and the bar for portfolios is higher than it was in 2017. Portfolios need to do more than show that we can create an eLearning project. Now we need to demonstrate how we're solving real problems and using the latest tech to make an impact. Based on these changes, this video goes over how I'd build my portfolio from the ground up in 2025. As well as my top portfolio suggestions for choosing good projects, picking the right tools, and more.
