Haitian writer Edwidge Danticat shares her experience with Girl Rising and what it was like getting to know Wadley, the girl in the film's Haiti chapter. A finalist for both the PEN / Faulkner and National Book Awards, and winner of the American Book Award–Danticat’s Breath, Eyes, Memory–was an Oprah Book Club selection.
