On the 28th of February 2026, London bus route 123 will be changed. The 123 has been operated by Arriva London North since 2005. The route uses diesel Wright Eclipse Gemini 2s from 2011 and 2013, Ex-Stagecoach Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 hybrids from 2014, And Gemini 3 hybrids from 2017. Go-Ahead London will begin running the 123 on the 28th of February. The route will use a full allocation of hybrid buses in the future. Diesel and hybrid Gemini 2s will be used temporarily. These have been transferred from route 22 and Superloop SL11. The 123 is also expected to be cut between Wood Green and Turnpike Lane. With buses no longer serving stops on Wood Green High Road. This change was due to happen around 2024 but has been postponed. Route 123 runs between Wood Green and Ilford. The route runs every 7 to 15 minutes. And runs a 24-hour service, running every 30 minutes at night. The 123 is around 12 miles (19 km) long. With a full journey taking 50 to 90 minutes. The 123 serves Lordship Lane, Brampton Park Road, Coleraine Road, Turnpike Lane Bus Station, Westbury Avenue, The Roundway, Bruce Castle Park & Museum, Bruce Grove Station, Tottenham Police Station, Tottenham High Road, Tottenham Hale Bus Station, Walthamstow Wetlands, Blackhorse Road Station, Lloyd Park, Bromley Road, Waltham Forest Town Hall, Wood Street, Waterworks Corner, High Road South Woodford, Charlie Browns Roundabout, Woodford, Roding Lane North, Claybury Broadway, Gants Hill Station, Cranbrook Road, Valentines Park, Ilford Station, Chapel Road, Redbridge Central Library and Hainault Street. The 123 connects to several rail lines, including... The London Underground Piccadilly line at Wood Green and Turnpike Lane, The London Overground Weaver line at Bruce Grove, The London Underground Victoria line at Tottenham Hale and Blackhorse Road, National Rail (Greater Anglia and Stansted Express) at Tottenham Hale, The London Underground Central line at South Woodford and Gants Hill, And the Elizabeth Line at Ilford.
