This type of Battle Mode is exclusive to 1st Dance Floor. It is available when two players join, and Double Mode is replaced with Battle Mode in the Mode Selection screen. You can choose from four exclusive Battle songs. Just like Remix Mode, Battle Mode only gives you 1 stage, but it costs 2 credits since it required 2 players. Many players felt this was a financial rip-off as a result. 1st Dance Floor's Battle Mode worked similarly to DDR 2ndMIX's Step Battle Mode.
