A great flight down to the Canaries on the new Jet2 Airbus A321neo, the soon to be flagship aircraft for the carrier. Having been introduced in March of last year, there are currently 9 in service with many more on order. This particular flight was an early morning run down to Tenerife on G-SUNC. Manchester T2 was quiet at this early hour so getting through and to the aircraft was no issue. Once onboard the cabin was clearly a step up from older aircraft. We departed on time and experienced a great sunrise over the Atlantic. After a pleasant pre-order breakfast there wasn't a lot to see until we began our approach and landing into a fairly bumpy TFS where we landed and parked just a couple of minutes late. Overall a really good flight, I found the NEO to be a very comfortable aircraft, the experience prior to boarding through Manchester T2 was great, the crew were fantastic, especially having to deal with a few rowdy passengers throughout the flight, the food was tasty and finally the views themselves on the flight and approach into TFS made for an all round great experience.
