Today, I visited Baengnyeon Dodam Sotbap, located in Yeouido, Seoul, to try their pot rice set meals! 😊❤️ I had three dishes: Grilled Bulgogi (for 2), Assorted Grilled Fish (for 2), and Spicy Stir-Fried Octopus (for 2). Alongside the main dishes, there were 9 side dishes, and each one was absolutely delicious! It tasted just like a home-cooked Korean meal prepared by Mom! 🥹 The set meals come with sweet and savory grilled bulgogi (rarely seen in stone pot rice menus at other restaurants!), perfectly grilled assorted fish (yellow croaker, flounder, cutlassfish, and mackerel), and tender, flavorful spicy stir-fried octopus. All three were so tasty that I couldn't pick a favorite 🤦🏻‍♀️. The freshly cooked rice was loaded with ginkgo nuts, beans, sweet potatoes, and carrots, making it feel both healthy and flavorful even on its own. With all the variety and deliciousness, I didn’t even notice my rice was disappearing so quickly! If you’re planning to visit Yeouido, don’t miss this place to taste Korean home-style cooking!
