Interview with Bertrand Castelnérac about SEAir Flying Tender Designs | Standen Marine

Steve Williams from Standen Marine speaks with Bertrand Castelnérac, foiling expert and co-founder of SEAir during his recent visit to Sydney. SEAir has brought "nautical flight" to mainstream recreational boats in the form of the SEAir Flying Tender. The hull of the SEAir Flying Tender flies 20cm above the water, supported by 3 carbon foils that provide stability and reduce drag. The SEAir Flying Tender is able to ride smoothly and navigate faster through waves that would pound a traditional boat. The low drag means that fuel consumption is greatly improved and the engine doesn't need to work as hard.
