India’s northeastern state of Manipur is seeing a fresh wave of violence. The state is on high alert after six women and children, reportedly from the Meitei community, were found dead. Protesters took to the streets, vehicles were set on fire, and the homes of several lawmakers were attacked. For nearly two years, Manipur has been in the middle of an ethnic conflict.
