In this video, titled "Intuition" from the Arpana Trust channel, Param Pujya Ma*,primarily in Hindi, *explores the limits of intellect and the nature of true faith, peace, and meditation (Dhyan). Summary of the key points: Intuition, Faith, and the Self • Faith vs. Intellect: Ma explains that while reasoning and intellect can lead one to accept the teachings of the scriptures, faith (Shraddha) is what gives the commitment to practice and reach the practical level [00:10]. • Accepting the Soul (Atma): To truly accept the fact "I am not the body, I am the soul," reasoning is insufficient; only intuition can reach this understanding [00:42]. • Transcending the Ego: True realization involves the practice of not being a thing ("मैं कोई चीज नहीं है") and holding onto this realization at every level [01:43]. The understanding of the difference between the form and the true nature (Rupa and Swarupa) is required to truly live the scriptures, beyond merely reading them [02:39]. The Nature of True Peace (Shanti) • Temporary vs. True Peace: When people pray for peace, they often ask for a state that is temporary and can be broken by adversity (विपरीतता) [02:48]. • Unalterable Peace: True peace (Shant) is that which remains undisturbed and calm even when faced with complete adversity (पूर्ण विपरीत हो जाए) [03:07]. The Nature of True Meditation (Dhyan) • Beyond Solitude: Meditation that only occurs in a solitary (Ekaant) place is merely the beginning [03:17]. • Meditation Amidst Chaos: True meditation is when you can sit in the middle of a noisy crossroads, with everything happening around you, yet *your attention does not waver*—you are in bliss (mast) [03:20]. • Selfless Focus: The proof of true meditation is when it is unbroken, like being so absorbed in a book that you are unaware of external events [04:05]. The attention of a realized being is special because the 'I' (ego) does not interfere or try to control it [05:31]. If there is nothing the 'I' needs, then attention simply sees what comes before it [06:22]. #arpanatrust #consciousliving #innerpeace #spiritualwisdom #gitadaily #intuition #faith #intellect #shraddha #atma #ego #meditation Please Like, Subscribe & Share See Playlists @ / @arpanaorg Param Pujya Ma answers Seeker's question Place: Arpana Ashram, Madhuban, G.T.
