ADHD is an attention deficit, it isn't made-up, it's not laziness, craziness, or stupidity, and it's not autism, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, anxiety, substance abuse, or dementia, even though all of these can resemble, and all of these can occur with ADHD. Sometimes we need to rule out these other conditions, but very often, it is a "yes, and..." situation where it can be important to identify two or more simultaneous conditions. Separate videos on my channel go into more detail regarding all of these conditions, but here I present a quick overview highlighting why each of these conditions may be confused with ADHD, and how to differentiate each from ADHD. ----- Free link to my Medium Article on What is NOT ADHD?: https://medium.com/wise-well/13-thing... Dr. Kruse has posted talks in both the "live" and the "video" sections of this channel.
