Its basically a scaled used to gauge how acidic or basic a water-based solution can be. Lower pH means more acidic, while a higher pH means more basic (alkaline). At room temperature (25 °C), pure water is neither acidic nor basic and has a pH of 7. Testing pH of water is important as one should be conscious of what type of water they are drinking, either alkaline or acidic. That is why I did a water bottle pH test to see what the water bottles sold in stores really have to offer us. This alkaline water test really surprised me as I learned a lot about the ph of water as well as the ph balance that the water ph test offered.
