The UQ-IITD Research Academy joint PhD program provides the scholar with a jointly awarded Doctor of Philosophy from both UQ and IITD on successful completion of the program. Through the UQ–IITD Research Academy’s four-year joint PhD program, you can receive a scholarship to study at 2 world-leading, research-intensive institutions on multidisciplinary projects. You will study in both Australia and India as a part of your degree. Indian and international students will spend 3 years in India and one year in Australia while Australian students will spend 3 years in Australia and one year in India. Program duration 4 years maximum (full-time). Assessment and Qualifications A thesis of no more than 80,000 words, with the research representing a significant new contribution to the discipline On successful completion of the program, students will receive a jointly awarded Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from both UQ and IITD.
