Exploring Sonic Textures with Lyra-8, Ableton Move & Baklengs Pedal In this piece, I dive deep into the raw, unpredictable character of the Lyra-8 by SOMA Laboratory, using it as both a rhythmic and atmospheric source. I've sampled a variety of percussive and tonal elements from the Lyra-8 and woven them throughout the composition using Ableton Move, which allows for intuitive control and expressive manipulation of the samples. To add further depth and movement, I incorporate the Baklengs reverse delay pedal by Pladask Elektrisk, which brings a haunting, time-warped texture to the soundscape.
