Lock-down the Line

Lock-down the Line Due to the lockdown, we quickly had to change our plans to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Barrow Hill Roundhouse. We were hoping to hold a performance of our successful 2017 community play “Down the Line”, written by Kevin Fegan and directed by Carole Copeland. Instead, thanks to funding from The National Lottery and Arts Council England, and with further support from Cllr Barry Bingham DCC Community Leadership Fund, we embraced the digital world. Through a series of online drama and singing sessions, art activities and competitions, talented members of our local community worked alongside professional musicians, actors and digital artists to produce this extraordinary film, set during extraordinary times.
