Let's Play Whiskerwood. Long. Gameplay. Walkthrough. Tips and Tricks. Strategies. In this video, you will see me play Whiskerwood (Early Access Release) with the lastest patch update 13. This episode, you will see me reach the End of Day 536, building an Underground Colony from Day 486. Patch 12 introduced Housing Upgrade option so that you don't have to deconstruct the building. In Patch 13, some of the houses can now be mirrored with a flip option to create a different building variant. The Windsock is a new struct that helps you see which way the wind is blowing to see if pollution is moving. Whiskerwood is a low fantasy Survival City Builder City Builder Colony Sim with Cats and Mice. This game is like playing Anno 1800 (Anno 117: Pax Romana) with vertical building mechanics similar to Timberborn and All Will Fall. Surviving the Winter becomes a Frostpunk style game with heat management. There are so many interesting game mechanics in Whiskerwood found in other games such as RimWorld, Oxygen Not Included, and Farthest Frontier. Whiskerwood is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend checking it out. 0:00 Welcome Back 1:04 Continuing the Game 3:50:29 Closing Remarks If this video helps you in anyway, don't forget to hit LIKE and SUBSCRIBE Thank you so much Hooded Horse and Minakata Dynamics for the game key. / ronempire (don't forget to follow!) In Whiskerwood, you are like a Colonial viceroy (Against the Storm vibes) tasked to establish a colony of Whiskers (mice) sent by the Claws (cats) to secure resources to send back to the royal crown. You start the game off by deciding where you want to build your Harbor/Dock and Warehouse. Your crew of Whiskers (mice) must gather resources to pay a debt to the Claws. A tax collector will arrive every few days to collect the debt. Your resources each have a certain value in which you need decide what to pay / give to the Claws to meet the debt requirement. If you take supplies from the crown, your debt will increase. Failing to make your payments will cause your Trust/Relationship to drop. Refusing to take Supplies offered to you can also impact your relationship with the Claws. You'll need to make some tough choices deciding which resources to give up to pay your debt while also trying to maintain your Colony's Survival and approval. Keeping your Whiskers happy and approval is going to be important in the long game if you want to break free from the Claws. Whiskerwood shares some game mechanics similar to Timberborn, Frostpunk, Against the Storm, Farthest Frontier, Anno 1800, Banished, Anno 117, Factorio, Settlements Rising, All Will Fall, Ratopia, The Oceaneers, Sintopia, Manor Lords, Fata Deum, Founder's Fortune, and Gord. There are some factory automation mechanics in this game.
