These 2100$ Gaziano & Girling Burhams needed new soles and an upper restoration. The customer wanted toe plates as well. I decided on custom made, solid brass, toe plates. G&G's are among the best and finest shoes in the world. Their finish is outstanding. It requires a lot of precision and patience when working on these shoes, to end up with a finish worthy of the skilled craftsmen at G&G. I hope they would be pleased with the end result. My price tag on a job like this is about 400€. I worked on them for many, many hours.
