OS FS-30 engine converted to RCEXL CDI gas

I have recently experimented with the old FS-30 to convert it to gas since it is the only glow fueled engine I run nowadays. And it uses so little, the methanol fuel will get old eventually. I run with RCEXL ignition and stock carburettor. I have tested with a ASP FS-30 carb, but I find the stock one to be better. It's not optimal buy any means, but it seems to work good enough. The engine has now 2 extra head gaskets. I will probably revert to stock configuration since I don't notice any difference att all. Runs a APC 11x4 at approx. 8000 top and 2000-2300 idle Regular 5% oil mix. I can achieve higher top RPM (8800) by adding a lot of timing, but then the idle becomes like a pile of shit. RPM-range at current timing is slightly lower compared to glow fuel with 5% nitro and 15% oil. The idle on glow fuel is a good bit lower at 1700-1800 rpm steady.
