Sister Barbara A Williams, ‘63 reflects on their experience as part of the Georgian Court community in The Enduring Spirit of Mercy at Georgian Court University: Stories of the Past to Shape Our Future, a campus-wide initiative supported by the Council of Independent Colleges’ NetVUE program to reframe the university’s institutional saga. Through historical reflection and personal narrative, members of the Georgian Court community share insights into how the university’s Catholic identity and Mercy heritage have shaped its mission, values, and responses to change over time. These stories explore how the Mercy charism, which is rooted in compassion, justice, service, and respect for human dignity, continues to guide Georgian Court as it responds to contemporary challenges and prepares for the future. Videos created by Georgian Court University’s Communication Program with funding generously provided by the NetVUE Grant “Reframing the Institutional Saga” through the Council of Independent Colleges and the Lilly Endowment.
