Day 14 learning dock starts and chasing a 1-minute foil pump before I turn 40. This session was awesome — and a huge step forward. I built a small wooden platform that connects to the dock’s rail, giving me a flat surface to jump from and extra foil clearance. That one change made a massive difference. For the first time, I had truly consistent jump starts, which completely changed how the session unfolded. With reliable launches, I could finally focus on pumping and control, not just getting up. The biggest challenge I ran into was turning while pumping, but one simple adjustment helped immediately: Looking up and slightly in the direction I wanted to go About 15 degrees toward the turn, focusing on the distance That change dramatically improved my balance, weight distribution, and stability. The progress showed: New personal best: 51 seconds of continuous pumping. That puts me just 9 seconds away from my goal. After a tough journey filled with setbacks, frustrations, and small wins, this session felt like the point where the fun part is really beginning. The goal is close: Pump on foil for 1 full minute before I turn 40 (March 15). Can’t wait for the next session.
