Prime Time today speaks to some of the farmers who were holding a protest march in Delhi demanding implementation of the Swaminathan Committee recommendations on MSP and waiver of farm loans. Farmers from all across UP had travelled on tractors and on foot to hold a protest rally in Delhi. The farmers however say that they received very poor media coverage even though thousands of them had travelled all the way to Delhi. Ravish Kumar asks whether the media attention is diverted into raked up issues such as communal discord so that real concerns of citizens, including farmers can be conveniently ignored.
