For roughly two months, activists from the Israeli Animal Liberation Front have been looking into a calves fattening farm, which is located in the Sharon area. The investigation started after tracking a purchase of a male calf from a dairy farm. Male calves are removed from the dairy farms since they do not produce milk and are of no value as milking machines. The farm turned out to be a living hell on earth! The male calves are in a very poor physical condition, trapped in a cage as small as their size, living in their own shit, eyes inflamed, suffering from pneumonia and anemia. In the first couple of months of their lives, they are held in cold, dark torn cages which often cut through their flesh, causing incisions and infections. We now reveal an inside look of this farm for you to see and hear. When an encounter occurs with a man working in this "business" a question is often asked: "But what about him and his livelihood?" To which we reply: we do not see it as a justifiable act to make a living out of exploitation of others. Farmers have no moral right to make money out of such an abusive industry. Animals are not product! They are living beings, vulnerable, sensitive, frightened and suffering just like we do! Free them all!
