As of 2 October 2017, Monarch has officially ceased operations after nearly 50 years of service. I am very sad to see this wonderful airline go, yet happy for all of the experiences it brought me. Well what can I say, another year, another trip to Tenerife! This time I'm flying with Monarch on flight ZB280 from London Gatwick, just before the start of the Easter Holidays. I've included footage from boarding, push and taxi, takeoff, some of the cruise, descent, landing and a quick visit to the cockpit. I know the sound is a bit bad and quiet when filming with my action camera as it was rattling in its case but I had no choice as the only place to attach my suction mount to the camera was the case so I had to put the camera inside it.
