These figures are made from materials like wood, paper, and foam. They often represent funny or critical ideas about politics, celebrities, or current events. The Fallas festival happens every March to celebrate the arrival of spring. On March 19th, the final event, called La Cremà, burns all the figures in a big fire. But before they are burned, there is an event called the Exposición del Ninot (Ninot Exhibition). During this exhibition, many of the ninots are shown at the City of Art and Science. People can look at the amazing work of the artists and even vote for their favorite figure. The ninot with the most votes is saved from the fire and kept in the museum.
